First we want to say "thank you" to all the first time attendees. Those who attended for the first time, shared how Blessed they were to be there to see the church from another perspective, to witness the move of God in each Worship service and the new connections that they were able to make.
Our WIM meeting was great. Thanks to our District Worship Leader, Rev. Edna Parker and her team for leading us in Worship. Thank you to the Rev. Alicia Bailey, who cannot help herself but to preach the Word of God as she brought the meditation. She reminded us that as Women in Ministry in order to obtain excellence we need a "New Attitude."
All those who were ordained this conference year and those who graduated achieving Bachelors degrees, D.Min or PhD degrees were also recognized by receiving a certificate. Our Evangelist who completed their training were also given certificates. We want to say "thank you" to our District President, Rev. Dr. Dill and the Executive Board for recognizing the women. Of course, NY received quite a few certificates.
