Well, it is finally here, the end of another Conference year. Who would have thought it would come so quickly. Well, whether or not you are ready, Annual Conference 2015 is only 12 days away.
I thank God for this Conference year. We had an awesome time this year. We did some things that we have never done before. We had fun at our very first barbecue meeting in July, our Christmas celebration was great, we had an awesome Black History program, we had the pleasure of having a Chiropractor as our guest presenter at one of our meetings and she offered free massages (for a few minutes), we thank God for allowing us to meet at Churches this year that we have never met in before (Greater St. Paul-Bklyn and Greater Allen Cathedral-Jamaica). So as we come to the end of this Conference year it was decided that we will close out with an evening of Praise and Worship.
Our end of Conference meeting will take place on Friday, April 17th 2015 @ 7 p.m. with a night of "Celebration of Praise and Worship" at Mount Moriah AME Church. We are also thankful that some of our Associate members will be joining us by participating on the program and/or rendering a selection.
Also, please do remember that during Annual Conference, our luncheon will take place on Thursday, April 23rd during the lunch hour. The cost for lunch will be $20. Please make arrangements to join us for lunch.
Please know that we will be collecting ALL dues during Annual Conference and remember that there is a deadline for Connectional dues for 2014/2015. All monies must be submitted by the end of the month, so please be sure to pay your dues for 2014/2015 and we will be collecting 2015/2016 dues. In order to vote next year at the General Conference, we must be paid up for 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 Conference years. You want to be a part of this experience, so please pay all your dues so that you will be able to participate in the voting experience.
Thank you all for a wonderful conference year and as we look forward for the upcoming Conference year, we should go in Expecting Greater because we serve a Great God.
