Greetings First District WIM, Please be reminded that the extended deadline for the Earlybird Registration for the AME/WIM Quadrennial is this Thursday, May 31st. All women ministers are encouraged to be in attendance as we gather in Birmingham, Alabama on August 6th-10th, 2018 from throughout the Connection to attend workshops, worship and witness together. There will be dynamic preaching and teaching from individuals from throughout the Connection and across denominational lines. Confirmed Presenters from the First Episcopal District include our Episcopal Supervisor, Rev. Dr. Jessica Kendall Ingram, Episcopal Supervisor Christie Davis Jackson, Esq., Rev. Dr. Regena Thomas, Rev. Dr. Jennifer Leath and our Connectional WIM President-Rev. Dr. Erika Crawford. Let's plan to be there to support them!! There will be special workshops and Late Night Worship led for and by our younger women in ministry and each Annual Conference in the First has been asked to sponsor a minimum of one WIM under 35 for the conference. In addition, a candidate will be required to provide approximately 12-14 clinical hours weekly with at least 8 of those hours rounding at the hospital. The process will include the following: 1.
